Golden Corrall My second favorite restaurant is the Golden Corral in Grand Junction. The steak, is very delicious and you get it cooked just the way you want. You can get lots of great food there, that you can choose what to eat for dinner. There is also tons of delicious desserts you can choose from, too. I love that the service, there at Golden Corral is very friendly to all customers. Golden Corral is a great place to go to!

Super yummy food. Very wide variety. Clean, plenty of seating. Parking lot could be a little bigger... I recommend!

Breakfast review: Basic breakfast fare (eggs, different sausage varieties potatoes of different styles byo omelets ). Patty sausage was a bit overcooked, but decent taste. Build your own Omelet bar is nice and the waffles are good. Parking in front can be a bit of a pain in the rear. A bit pricey, but not bad if you have family in town.

Typical buffet. But be careful, they will serve your kids raw meat. This food reminds me of when I was in school and went through the buffet at lunch there. The Chocolate fountain is a nice touch though for desert.

Rated 2 stars because our server was awesome. The salad choices looked old and most tasted spoiled. Couldn't bring myself to eat any of the cooked vegetables. Looked like they were overcooked, sitting in vats of oil. Chicken was not quite done. Chocolate cake was good.

It's a Golden Corral. They're all the same. You know what you're getting when you go there. Stop complaining. I had lunch there once. I love their mini-burgers. Nice selection of deserts. Decent salad bar. Constant refills on my drink.

Went in for dinner expecting a 1-star experience, came out with a solid 3! As my brother put it upon retrieving our third plates of food: "There's nothing here I want to have an entire plate of, but nothing that's horrible." Fittingly, we were in a "quantity over quality" kind of mood; the Corral is perfect for times such as these. It's a great deal in terms of buffets: $12 during week nights, a couple bucks more on weekends. That does not include a drink. There is a decent variety of mostly comfort foods, but again, nothing that blows your mind. Several dishes were cold when they should have been at least warm. Place is clean, service is friendly, and dress code ranges from tattoos and trucker hats to white sneakers and walkers.

This is probably the best buy breakfast for weekends in Grand Junction. And if you are a senior, it is downright cheap. Made to order omelets and eggs. Nice salad bar. Some great juices! Freshly carved ham. The bacon tends to be sitting in its grease and the sausage over cooked. But, there is such a wealth to chose from that you can make a very nice meal.

Stay away! I have eaten a many buffet places near and far and I put the Golden Corral on the same level as I would Sizzler. My family visited 45 minutes before they closed and they did not re-stock their food once! The majority of the food was old and crustee. We still enjoyed a few dishes here and there, but it was not worth the price we paid ($11 per person). About 20 minutes before the place was closing, a worker was washing all the glass over the salad bar with Windex. The thing was, all the food containers had been push to the very edge, right beneath where the glass resides. I am glad I had already finished eating what I wanted at the salad bar. They re-keep their salad dishes too, stored in bins. By the way, the manager and the cashier are very gay...not my style or preference.

Super outdated in every aspect. Drinks are only served to you. You are unable to serve yourself and soda is the only option. Food is very basic and blah. Bathrooms are very outdated and dirty. Prices are too high especially for quality. Highly unrecommended.

Terrible school cafeteria-quality food. Not worth any amount of money; even their mac and cheese was disgusting and that's a hard dish to ruin. It's possible that we just didn't choose the right dishes, but every single one we tried was terrible. They were also very slow with drinks.

Most of the dishes are pure garbage, just out as filler. The soft serve ice cream is terrible, mostly just ice crystals. The chocolate waterfall is cool, but really doesn't taste that good. The steak was okay, a few of the chinese style dishes were okay. Mostly don't be afraid to shove food off to the side and get something different because there are a lot of bad ones mixed in with the good.

Came here for dinner and all the food was fresh and tasted amazing, especially their new sirloin steaks! Always a pleasure dining here

This is the first time we were a little disappointed with Golden Corral. We got here at 8:30 p.m. I had called before we got here and they told me they closed at 9:00 but didn't close their food bar until 9:30. As we were eating the employees were busy putting the food in the buffet away. There was no ice cream and the chocolate fountain had been put away. The food was mediocre but the service was good.

Chose this restaurant on a road trip through town based on the theory that everyone in my family would find something the liked for dinner. It was about what I expected. Very average food and clientele. I made a big salad at the salad bar and it was decent. The sliced meats / ribs were decent as well. A lot of the deep fried and high carb choices made us feel a bit sick, but that is to be expected. Service was quick and effecient.

I've dined at quite a few Golden Corrals across the country and this one stacks up there with some of the better ones in the categories of quality, service and variety of selections available. Their weekend early bird breakfasts are probably my personal favorite when I'm really famished and they have reasonable pricing as well as decent senior discounts at certain times of the day. It can also be hard to find a parking space here during their peak service hours. Is it a fine dining establishment? No, it's a buffet. It's advertised as such and priced accordingly. In all, my personal experience at this Golden Corral has been a good one. So if you're hungry and looking for good value, plenty of selections and Himalayan proportions of everything, I believe it's worth your time to check it out. Bon Apetité "Life's too short for bland food, bad wine, weak coffee or cheap whiskey." RS
